Barbara Hayden Photography

Bio-
My first mentor was my father, a professional photographer trained by the US Army in WWII. His studios and darkrooms were my childhood playgrounds. The School of Visual Arts (NYC) provided the balance of my formal training.
I am a Fine Arts Photographer with a passion for candid street-shooting. I consider myself a purist in the sense that my images are not staged nor posed but rather unique glimpses of ordinary moments.
I especially enjoy capturing the diverse styles of my Silver Lake neighborhood in Los Angeles.
